J. Dutch born (John Henry Brooks lll) in January 26 1986, is an all American rapper from Oakland California.
Coming from a musical background Dutch took to the art like a duck to water, his grandfather (John Henry Brooks l) was a blues legendary and many of Dutch's Aunts, Uncles and Cousins sang constantly.

While in high school in 2004 he and fellow rap artist Marcus Crumby (Young Rook) formed a group called Street Legal which also had the company of Lovell Crumby (Lovell) and Gus Florez (Da Gr8 Gustavo ) Street Legal's first show was there big break they had the opportunity to open for local celebrity Mistah Fabb at a West Oakland festival.
Through out the last year of high school they found local success and caught the eye of local record label Thizz Ent.
Not yet 21 they were performing from night club to night club and other events around the Bay Area.
In 2005 J. Dutch signed with Universal Records along with a group called Cali Soilders.
The group released an album featuring some heavy bay area names, San Quinn, Big Rich, Turf Talk.
The Album titled (The Agressor And The Cali Soldiers) had two singles drop that year "Go Dumb and " "Ice Cream"
Not yet 21 they were performing from night club to night club and other events around the Bay Area.

Shortly after 2008 J. Dutch became part of an incredible team joining with the Baldomero brothers Chris and Neil founders of Breakstone Productions. Working close with Troy of Duce Paid and Donovan of Plus Sign Vibes they put out a countless numbers of songs and tours from every night club in San Francisco to every theater in the Bay Area catching the eye of Mtv.
Dutch has been featured on countless songs and blogs with other artist from pop to rap branding himself as one of the dopest emcees.
In 2010 J. Dutch signed a management contract with Arnold Gaitan ceo of Make It Happen Ent
They released a mixtape (Ladies And Gentlemen 2) that gained the respect of alot of his musical peers
Now Dutch signed on with Not Only Street Records/Publishing Group and the possibilities are endless.
In 2012 Dutch released his first Ep titled "Lonely Empire " which buzz was a great success internationaly from blogs to digital magazines but lacked in sales.
His first single "Speakers" featured Sonny B of Crsb the song was a great success topping the charts on online radio.
