Born and raised in Warren County NC and by the age of 15, after years of listening to so many people around him rap, he decided to give it a try.

Since that day, he has become extremely serious about his craft. “I always had to struggle to lay a track down because I didn’t have the equipment to record on unlike other people from my town” says New Era.

Where others lost inspiration and let the creativity of music leave their lives, New Era stood strong in his small town spending most of his time studying new ways to create, may it be writing music!

After relocating to Raleigh, NC he soon surrounded himself with many unsigned artists and began to build up his portfolio of collaborations.

New Era has completed many projects, what was once just a hobby has become his life career and dream, “I have a long way to go” says New Era, but the door has opened.

Now currently signed with Not Only Street Records and his new release of “What You Lookin At” produced by Mr. GB of the Beat Monstraz he will continue to build bridges on the long road to success.
